Lazy Eye Games
Medical Disclaimer & Safety Notice
Last updated: May 18, 2026
Lazy Eye Games uses red/cyan anaglyph presentation to support supplementary binocular-vision practice through play. It is offered as entertainment, education, and supplemental training software only, not as a medical service.
Key Points
- The app is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis and is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or emergency care.
- We do not promise that using the app will cure amblyopia, improve visual acuity, restore binocular vision, or produce any specific clinical result.
- Anaglyph 3D effects and screen use may trigger eye strain, headaches, dizziness, nausea, motion sickness, photosensitive reactions, or seizures in susceptible users.
- Children should use the app only with the permission and supervision of a parent, guardian, or qualified clinician.
1. Supplementary Training Only
Lazy Eye Games, including its exercises, mini-games, calibration tools, website content, and related materials, is provided solely for entertainment, general educational purposes, and supplementary vision-training practice. The app has not been cleared or approved as a medical device by the FDA or any equivalent regulatory authority unless we expressly say so.
All content, features, and recommendations are provided in good faith but on an "as is" and "as available" basis, with all faults and without guarantees of uninterrupted availability, accuracy, completeness, therapeutic value, or fitness for your individual needs.
2. No Medical Advice or Guaranteed Outcomes
Lazy Eye Games does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, monitoring, or emergency services. Your use of the app does not create a doctor-patient, therapist-patient, or other clinical relationship with us.
Always consult a licensed optometrist, ophthalmologist, orthoptist, pediatric eye-care provider, or vision therapist before starting or changing any amblyopia or binocular-vision routine. We make no representation or warranty that the app will cure amblyopia, improve visual acuity, eliminate suppression, restore stereopsis, prevent diplopia, or achieve any other medical or therapeutic outcome. Results, if any, vary by user.
3. Health, Seizure, and 3D Use Warning
Because the app uses red/cyan anaglyph images, color separation, motion, flashing visual effects, and extended screen viewing, some users may experience eye strain, fatigue, dry eyes, headaches, dizziness, nausea, motion sickness, disorientation, double vision, or worsening visual discomfort. In susceptible individuals, visual stimuli may also trigger photosensitive reactions or seizures.
Do not use the app while driving, walking in hazardous areas, cycling, operating machinery, or performing any activity where altered color or depth perception could create a safety risk. If you or your child experience discomfort, stop using the app immediately, take a break, and consult a qualified medical professional before resuming use. Seek urgent medical care for seizures, persistent double vision, sudden vision changes, severe pain, or any significant neurological symptom.
4. Assumption of Risk and User Responsibility
By choosing to use Lazy Eye Games, you voluntarily assume all risks arising from use of the app, including physical, visual, neurological, and device-related risks. You are responsible for deciding whether the app is appropriate for you or your child, setting reasonable session lengths, taking breaks, following professional guidance, and using the app in a safe environment.
If the app is used by a minor, the parent or legal guardian accepts responsibility for purchase decisions, setup, supervision, and monitoring for discomfort or adverse reactions.
5. Third-Party Glasses, Displays, and Equipment
Lazy Eye Games depends in part on compatible displays, device settings, and third-party red/cyan anaglyph glasses. We do not manufacture, test, certify, or control third-party glasses or other accessories and make no warranties about their quality, safety, fit, durability, optical accuracy, color separation, or regulatory compliance.
Low-quality, damaged, or poorly calibrated glasses and displays may reduce performance, distort colors, worsen comfort, or make exercises ineffective. You accept responsibility for selecting and using suitable equipment.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lazy Eye Games will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any medical complication, injury, seizure, discomfort, device damage, data loss, loss of business, or loss of goodwill arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the app, even if we were advised that such damage was possible.
Nothing in this notice limits any rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable consumer or health and safety law, but all exclusions and limitations apply to the fullest extent permitted.
7. Questions
If you have questions about this disclaimer, contact info@lazyeyegames.com. If you need medical advice, contact a qualified clinician instead of relying on the app or this website.
